So I took these photos last march and this march as a rough comparison. I was blown away to be honest, this little guy was hatched 2010 and I feel like with the proper husbandry they can be beautiful little creatures, even in climates like mines. Apologies that he hasnt had a was in this years pics so he looks a little grubby, to compensate I will post a picture or two that I took of him today!!

A very pretty boy!...is it true that you can gauge the age of tortoises/turtles by counting the bottom plates of the shell?

Scotti he looks great. A year old and no pyramiding of his shell, I am impressed.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything Happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

lol Slap. When tortoises don't get the proper nutrition, light, and/or humidity they need their shells pyramid. Sometimes it's so bad the animal can't walk anymore. Google pyramid tortoise shell and you will see what it is.

When in doubt, ask yourself... W.W.L.S (What would Lee Say)?
