    I'd love it! I've looked at some plans. The one Simplicity followed looked good. I'm just not exactly experienced with woodwork so I'm worried about getting it right.

    No problem....of course, it is 36" tall, so you really just measure the "main" legs (the ones that reach all the way from top to bottom) to 36"....use good wood screws, I think I used #8, 2 1/2" long....many use stainless steel, i didn't, too pricey, and they are painted over anyway, so they don't get wet....use a good wood glue on all joints, too

    Be SURE to notice in the 3rd pic, the top 2 cross members are slightly recessed downward, you want the top edge of them below the top rectangle edge...you only want the tank trim sitting on the top rectangle, not on the cross members, they are for stability, not to support the tank!

    Oh thanks. I would not have noticed that and would have made those flush. That makes sense though.
