Man I did that like a month ago. I'm sorry I should have filmed it. Bare tank and just the plumbing. I made note of it at the time but I'll say it again. Get a small piece of plastic ripped from a plastic bag. Get your tank running and throw that plastic in there. That is the best way to see what is going on in the current below the surface. You really feel like you understand your tank better when you do that. Or at least I did. I'll fire her back up when I get the rocks in it.

Glad to see so much progress since the last time I've been on site! I hope you can stick to your sticking plan - every time I've made a stocking plan and headed to the FS, I've not found what I wanted, and been so anxious to see fins in the tank that I settled for the closest thing they had. Still makes for a nice tank, but not the Dream Tank. Good luck finding exactly what you want when you go shopping for fins!

Thanks, I already know that what I want isn't readily available so I'll probably have to special order it. So if I just mentally prepare myself for a wait I'll be less likely to settle for something else. lol

There is one video further down the page entitled Gastromyzon punctulatus. I want it! I want it! I want it! I just love those blue fins. There are several species with blue fins and I have to get at least one of them.
