Default Babies, babies and more babies

    2 Not allowed!
Well one of my girls gave birth to about 30 new guppy/endler mix babies today.

I've got another one due any day now and one that is about 2 weeks out. By the end of the month I should have more than a 100 fry.

I'm planning on keeping a couple of boys from this batch to see if any show some yellow on their bodies. They will get bred back to the yellow adults to see if one day I can get them to breed true colors.

The hardest part is waiting for them to grow up. I kept 3 girls from a batch a few months ago and they are finally nicely colored up and pregnant. I've got a handful of fry that are a 2 weeks old that I will wait and see if any turn out to be boys. I want to keep 1 or 2 males from the older batch, and 3 more girls from those born yesterday.

As my endlers are mixed already, they will throw some odd babies here and there, and the female guppies are farmed raised, so they will throw some odd babies also.

I figure it will take several generations to get them to breed true, but that is the fun part of fish keeping for me. I get new babies every month so it is just a matter of time.
