My, how time flies when you are having fun! It was exactly one year ago today that I found a little website called Aquatic Community, and decided to post there for some help with a 10 gallon tank my daughter bought and could not keep fish alive in, despite her and her mom's best efforts. I mean, they filled the tank with tap water, let it sit for 24 hours, then through some fish in...what possibly could go wrong??...her mom changed out the filter media religiously as soon as it became "dirty" so we just couldn't figure out what was wrong
Well, I like to think I've come a little ways as far as fish knowledge goes in the year I've been here, and it's all thanks to you guys' and girls' help and advice. I really enjoy visiting the AC every day just to see what you guys are up to, to learn, and to grow. I've made some great friends here, and I hope to make even more in the future.
Thanks Aquatic Community for all you've done for me and the countless others who have come here for the help/advice/criticisms/opinions you've given, as well as the many laughs. You are a great bunch of guys and gals, and I'm proud to call myself part of your family.
Here's to many many more years of fun and camaraderie, here at the AC!!!

From not being able to keep them alive to platy baby daddy in just 12 short months, Congratulations! I am glad you found us and stuck around Slap. When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?
Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

1If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
