    Default 75 Gallon Acquisition

On Thursday I shall be acquiring a 75 gallon aquarium from someone at work. First fish tank since the 10 I had when I was 6, 20 years ago lol. They offered $275 for it and everything that comes with it, offered $300 for them to include delivery and they accepted. Good deal, I don't have to drive to the north side of Milwaukee (ghetto) to get it and I just don't have to haul.

Bad things are it includes clown puke gravel and a horrible under gravel filter which I will have to toss. Also comes with a foot long common pleco (the only thing in the tank). I will be donating him to a local aquarium store for free. They have some pretty massive tanks/pools and I know they can give him a better home then this tank could.

I have some pics of it that I will upload later but the tank basically had the gravel and 4 fist size rocks in it so it's no wonder the person is getting rid of this tank. They told me they couldn't keep fish alive except for the plec, I'm not surprised.

Bad news: I can't have this tank running, still live at home, parents hate fish. Investment for the next two years when I move out made, just need to clean and store.

Nice, make sure you give it a good clean and rinse, a shop vac works great for getting that last bit of gravel out too

It's on Highway 100 just north of Beloit on the East side of the street. Place has a huge number of tanks. Looks like they changed their website and removed the store tour otherwise I would have directed you there.

Pics of the monstrosity that I'm buying will still be up later tonight after work.
