Red Arowana decreasing appetite - Help needed
My Red Aro has been showing decreasing appetite for about a week now and is currently very spooked and is running is bursts of speed when someone comes near the tank.
He doesn't seem to be having any infection and I have just changed the water by 50% about 5 days ago.
Here's a video of him and I hope you guys can have a look to check if he is healthy. I have a doubt, both the gills seem to be having a red arc on them is this normal or is it a symptom of gill curling / turning.
Any advise to get him back to normal would be great guys.

nice fish! looks like a normal-mannered juvenile to me. typical aro behaviour. keep the lights off for a few days. they prefer ambient light anyways.
try some live crickets, superworms, or earthworms to provoke its appetite.your friendly neighbourhood arowanaman!

My Aro seems to be doing fine but now I have a new issue.
It seems like a calcium deposit on my aquarium glass but I am not sure (It's on the inside of the tank).
I gave a 50% water change last week and the next day morning I could see a thin white coating on my aquarium glass, now that is in less than 10 hours.
Yesterday again I gave a 70% water change and scrubbed off all the deposits and to my horror today afternoon again its back, any ideas what is causing the calcium deposit and how to prevent it.
My tank lighting is always off and has no exposure to sunlight, something suddenly is causing this outbreak but I haven't changed anything in the tank or added any medication.
In my canister I have,
Mechanical filtration sponge, Ceramic Rings , Activated Carbon (3 months old now), Seachem Matrix 500mg.
Any advise would be great and thanks for all the help guys.

Any ideas how long the bloom would last and anything I can do to clear up the glass.

what are you using as filtration?
use multiple filters and that shouldn't happen when you replace one sponge.your friendly neighbourhood arowanaman!
