    Time will tell.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything Happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

most fish that are born like this don't make it very long. I used to get oddball jaguar fry that were the same as you describe. happens often with inbred cichlids.

I'd like to see this too, if you can get one.

My guess is that, sadly, it probably won't survive to adulthood.

Post a pic, I have never seen one. But I have seen cows like you describe and they don't survive the childhood. Maybe with fish could be different.

I will try to post a picture and its survived around 36 hours. half of it doesn't seem to be functioning though. Either that or one side is more dominant, that's what happens with snakes with 2 heads.

    That fish is amazing.
You are in the best position to judge, but generally such animals suffer and if you think it is in pain, it may be best to euthanize it.
