Did you add the new fish to your tank before recovering your BB? If so, it's going to take you much longer to grow enough bacteria to cycle your tank. Luckily you have some plants in there that are growing well, to buffer the ammonia, but you might, again, have issues/die off, due to the ensuing climb in ammonia. =/

Hope you don't have any more problems. Just keep up on your water changes to keep the levels low. Otherwise, the tank is looking nice.

Yea I would definitely like some more pencilfish, but I have only seen them once in the really good store here and they weren't any left yesterday. And, you're right, I'll look into adding some other neons and rasboras in the next couple weeks, depending on how the water parameters are.

When I treated the tank I moved the ADF, and neon tetras to a quarantine tank along with some of my good Filter material. Once I added them back in the tank, with the filter material my ammonia was consistently better. And then I waited another 9 days to add that Thomasi Pleco. I have been checking every day to look out for spikes. Hopefully there won't be any more problems. Thanks.

Thanks, hopefully as its roots become more established I'll see more growth.
