Question Mystery snail needs new digs - questions

My mystery snail is miserable in the 10 gallon with a dwarf gourami who keeps attacking him, so I am thinking of buying a smaller aquarium just for him and maybe shrimp or a fish who wouldn't attack him. What is the smallest size appropriate for a mystery? Would one of those betta tanks do the job? Will there be enough food for him if I am not feeding other fish in his tank, what should I give him (wafers? fresh veg? fish food?)

Any advice from anyone with a small snail tank much appreciated :)

You could put him in a 5.5 gallon tank with a couple of smaller fish (guppies and the like) or shrimp. Or I would imagine a really small 2.5 gallon tank would suffice for the snail alone or with another snail. Get a cheap sponge filter and I'd feed it lettuce or spinach. I also toss in some egg shells to increase their calcium intake.
Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.
