Used tank....
0
I found a 45 ga bowfront tank on Craigslist, here in town. It is currently being used. I looked at it, its very clean, has a couple of fish. Shes had the tank for 10 years. It has double the filter power using 2 bio wheel filters.
Should I plan on sealing all the seams if I buy it? I mean, how long does an aquarium last? Thanks

If it's currently set up and has no leaks I'd say it's good to go. I love my 46 gallon bowfront, it's a great looking tank.

+1 to the above
If the silicone looks good, it is still holding water, and it has not sat a long time without water in it, you should be fine
But having said that, you can easily re-seal the tank if you are worried about leaks
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I did, but her hubby says no. They're going out of town for a week, I'm thinking I better snap it up at 150
