Yes, you'll love these pandas. I picked up 5 small ones a week ago and they are much more visible than the sterbai cories I have in another tank. The sterbai are quite shy and run behind the wood and plants when I get near the tank. But the pandas are out front a lot and don't even seem to notice I'm there. Busy little guys, too.

Just curious, should one get 6+ corys of the same kind or would they even get along and skoot together if they are different corys?

You are so right!! They weren't in the tank 2 seconds and they were everywhere snooping and munching...not shy at all...I was a little surprised, and pleased!

Always try to get 6+ of the same kind. Sometimes you just can't replace ones you have lost but if you can, keep them in as large a group as possible. In the 70's they (lfs) were telling people that as "long as you have a pair, they will be fine".

Yuppers!! I've been here long enough to know "this post is useless without pictures"..... Well....you'll have to excuse the dark pic but these little guys (not even 3/4") obviously are working the bottom...and it's kind of dark down there..
