tough little thing...
so my poor fungus neon has never quit eating but had been schooling less with his buddies and hanging more in a cave until today. hes out about swimming competing for food at feeding time but... still has that fungus patch. this will be day 5 of treatment. it hasn't gotten bigger just stayed the same. nobody else has any symptoms. does this rule out columnaris?
i would so love to pinpoint whats going on in there.

I've told you several times it wasn't columnaris. Columnaris would have wiped out your entire tank in a day or two. Isn't this the second time you have treated for fungus? If the fungus treatment is not working it might be bacterial. When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?
Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

Perhaps it's time to try a more effective medicationIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
