This kinda true, but if you think about it, our 4 legged critters get to roam the house, it isn't fair that the fish can't. So we make up for it by putting tanks in every roomCurrent tanks:
37G FW - 3 Pearl Gourami, 4 Black Mollies, approximately 20+ Molly Fry, 5 Assassin Snails | 10G Planted FW - 14 Molly Fry, rocks, DW and an Anubias Nana - journal

All 3 in the living room, on opposite sides, the 75 on an inside wall and the dual 29s end-to-end on the outside wall. Someday when I have to replace my TV, I will get a wall-mounted unit and put a 20 long under it (would be parallel to the floor joists, so a 20L is the max size). My 75 gal Journal & My Dual 29 gal Journal
My 75 gal - 10 Gold Pristella Tetras, 4 Scissortail Rasboras, 9 Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish, 5 Longfin Zebra Danios and 2 Regular Fin
My Dual 29 gals, a work in progress - Tank 1 - Amano Shrimp, Peppered Cories, Tank 2 - Glowlight Danios and a Calico BNP

55G in the kitchen - away from the appliances ("L" shaped kitchen) so I can sit and watch or fiddle while I am cooking or waiting for stuff to cook. I love it there! Also makes WC easy lol ...
