I don't think I'd take the risk... once they are adults they will have been eating, and thus whatever they eat could get transferred to the fish.

Plus probably not much healthy about them, the larva have extra fats etc to get them to adult size

    No problem

After I finish the book I'm gonna decide which I want to try and then post a step by step for each of the ones I do

But can't do all because I respect the author and want people to still need / want to buy the book

Based on how a delivery goes today I'll be posting a instructional on shipping

I'm sure daphnia breeding is one of the articles in that book, they seem like they'd be interesting to raise

    yep.

I plan to do either a green water or protazoa of some sort, then micro worms and black worms (black worms I'll just buy at the local club meeting monthly)

How long do the black worms last?

I know John keeps them over a month, keep them in a small container of cool water doing daily water changes on it (don't need to dechlor) and they have lasted me two weeks no problem so far

Thats about what a good batch of Tubifex used to last me. I quit feeding them years ago, 1988 I think, after all the bad things people were saying about them. I do have to say I never had any problems, it was another "everybody else is doing so I should too", LOL
