Default Pseudomugil gertrudae aka Spotted Blue-Eye

Anybody have experience with these guys? I had been debating between these and celestial pearl danio, but have finally decided that the spotted blue-eyes will look best against my dark substrate. The CPDs will have to wait till I set up a second tank in the future :) Anyway, would the spotted blue-eyes be OK with a honey gourami or 2 in my 10 gallon? If so, how many? Would sticking with one honey gourami be a better bet?

The gertrudae I've kept were pretty agreeable with the other fish in the tank, so i do not foresee an issue with your honey gourami. I did see some quarreling amongst themselves when the balance of males to females was skewed too heavily to the males, but otherwise they were fine tankmates.

HOWEVER, you do need to be very cautious on multiple gouramis, as two will often fight amongst themselves. Best results would come from a male/female combination. Worst results tend to come from two males. In a 10 gallon, I don't think you have enough room to mitigate the aggression issues, and I'd suggest sticking to just one of the gourami.
