  1. Exclamation Building a New Fish Tank: I Need Help! :/

    0 Not allowed!
    hi there.

i am interested in building a new tank (circa 200 ltr) yet i'm facing a dilemma whether i need to do any bracing or not and if so how do i do it? is there only 1 simple way to do bracings or are there any different types?

please, help me coz i'm faced by a strict deadline.

    thanks in advance :)

N.B.: the size of the tank is 50cm x 45cm x 90cm. I already did some research which is why i ended up more confused.

There are a few ways that I have seen. You could do a Euro brace style, something like the below pic (just ignore the yellow arrows) I would think that might be a good approach depending on if you are using glass lids or not and the size you are building this tank

Just make sure you have the correct thickness of glass for the size of tank you want to build. You should use the same thickness of glass for the brace as you are using for the tank.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

size is 50 x 45 x 90 and was thinking of using a 10mm thickness. do i still need bracing even though the thickness in case is quite thick?
