Good to hear that she is at least trying to work with you on this problem...fingers crossed for you

That's great. Sounds as though she's open to replacing them. I still think it's entirely possible you got a bad batch. Maybe others simply haven't contacted her or figured it was their fault the fish died. Hope she does right by you.

So I returned the dead one and 2 others that looked sick. I now have store credit and am waiting to see how my other rummynose fair. One is looking a bit sickish right now but not nearly as bad as the others. The ones at the pet store look much better with no nipped tails and no conditions similiar to mine.

If mine are okay in a week or so, I believe I will buy more. Opinions?

EDIT: Her opinion was that since none of the ones she had or sold to others had problems that it could be something strange in my tap water. Opinions on this?

Since your rummys came with nipped fins, I'd be disinclined to agree with the LFS's opinion. Your water parameters (ammonia, nitrites and nitrates are perfect). I'd think that your water hardness would be the same as the LFS water unless you're in different cities.

As far as getting more, I believe that's what I'd do - wait a week or so or until you're sure the one sickish looking fish is okay - if it's rummys that you want. Sounds like the store is open to working with you which is good.,

Just saw the updates and agree with FM, after a couple of weeks try again, ask the LFS to keep some (on your credit) so they don't sell out and these seem very healthy.

Good luck and give us another video when their in the tank.

So my remaining rummy nose are all doing great! They have become more silver and less clear bodied and none seem to have any ulcers or sheens or anything! They are all eating and doing great! Im planning on picking up a couple more when I stop back in!

Good to hear! Glad they're doing better.

When you bring your new ones home, it might be wise to drip acclimate them to your tank for and hour and a half or so. The PH in my LFS is much different than mine. If I do the drip method, I have no problems at all with the fish making the transition.
