Thread: Won't eat????

The one was in QT for two weeks. After third day in there we discovered the liking for bloodworks and brine. Rotate the two feeding through the week and all of them go crazy on worm day. The larger swallowed up the entire serving when we added it a few days ago leaving no traces.
Colors all looking nicer, growth increased some and all seem so much happier and come to the surface when they see the lid open to eat out of your finger tips.

Oscars are really awesome, and a few people said to take him out and separate him until he eats. Thats is definitely a great idea. When I first got my oscar, he was bullied by the firemouth, who's much smaller than him. I kept him in a 20 gallon for a week because he wouldn't eat and was always being chased around. After a week he ate everything. I moved him back to the big tank and hes fine, and basically ignores the fire mouth. The smaller one needs time to himself and a little break from the stress lol. It has worked with two different cichlids of mine. Not including the oscar. So separate him in the quarantine for a week or two and see what happens, and get a cave or two for him also. He should be fine! Good luck!
    Work hard and have fun
