    Default Gourami / Tiger Barbs

Is there any possibility of making this relationship work? (38 gallon tank)
I currently have 7 tiger barbs and just recently added a Blue Gourami they tend to nip at his fins frequently

    Would adding more barbs help?
    More decor or hiding spots?
    Feed the barbs more often?

I have heard different perspectives that these two can live together (Im interested in hearing opinions from those who have made it work)

Tiger barbs tend to ignore others in the tank if you keep them in adequate numbers. Up their shoal to at least 12 and see how it goes. I have kept gourami and tiger barbs together many times...just takes a decent sized group.

Yes adding more tiger barbs will help I've had no issues keeping the two together.
