My Dwarf Gourami is a bully :(
I have a Dwarf Gourami, a Black Molly and a mystery snail cohabiting in a 10 gallon tank - but I think I am going to have to take the gourami back (which makes me sad because he is my favorite!) He is constantly going for the sail who has started hiding more than usual. He doesn't really bother with the Molly too much, but I wanted another fish and am worried that a) the tank is not big enough to support the bigger gourami and 2 smaller fish, and b) he is just going to bully the other fish constantly.
Is the kindest thing for me to do, to take him back? Or are the pet store just going to give him away to another clueless customer?! I feel so bad for him!~AquaMama

if he's not working out in your tank, you either get rid of him, or get rid of who he's bullying - those are your options. If you keep the status quo, something is going to die regardless.
Not much point worrying about if it's going to die in your tank or in someone else's. If you bring him back, everyone has a chance to live.

The DG might continue to find something to pick on whether you lose the snail or not. They are very territorial, and 10g is a very small territory.20 gallon with a male betta, neons, glowlights, and red cherry shrimp. (work in progess) Recently added a few LIVE plants and driftwood, Woooohoooo!
