Default How do I clean my brine shrimp aquarium?

    0 Not allowed!
I started a culture of brine shrimp last Wednesday to better the diet of my 20 gallon aquarium. I have raised them in the past, so I know what I am doing. Everything is going well, but I have been unable to clean the aquarium.

I tried shining a flashlight towards the bottom of their jar and I turned off the air pump, but I only got like 60% of them to move into the corner. The others are too oblivious to even care. It was the only light source, but the shrimp continue to swim everywhere. I do not remember this problem when I hatched the shrimp in eight grade, or I just forgot about it.

Regardless, how can I remove the cyst at the surface and vaccum the floor if I cannot find one place without brineshrimp. I changed the water by sucking it from the water column, but I still took about several dozen and had to drain the dirty water through a net for later reintroduction. What can I do?

I shine a light horizontally across the surface to get them to leave the bottom. A flashlight with a tight beam works well.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
