Glad to say I got these results:
    Ammonia: 0.00
    Nitrite: 0.00
    Nitrate: 5.00-10.00 (can't tell)

The nitrate levels are the highest I have ever had in this tank so would just like clarification on whether these levels are safe?

    Thanks.
Those are awesome results, generally speaking 20 ppm on trAtes is the level at which one might consider a PWC...5-10 is quite safe, mine in the 40B is usally about 15, with once weekly 30-40% PWCs

    Congrats!

If I remember correctly, you have some plants in that tank...plants help with nitrate levels, it is a nutrient for them

Yea I have a few plants and I have noticed rapid plant growth with the increased nitrate levels, especially with the duckweed, hornwort and this other plant that I don't know the I.D of.

Decided to give my tank plants a bit of a trim today as they were blocking out a lot of the light in the tank.

Mr Ram inspecting the new tank look to make sure it is up to Mrs Ram's standards for when she spawns soon.

I really have fallen in love with the GBRs. They have such quirky behaviour and are very colourful. They have also assumed the role of "protectors of the tank". Whenever I put my "pokey" stick in the tank to sort stuff, they both come to it and give it a good nibble.

I'd need another tank, but don't have the room...trying to convince Mrs. Slap that we don't need a couch, but she doesn't agree, for some dumb reason.
