I agree with Slap, nice looking tank. I know native fish get overlooked but thats a neat looking fish.

I don't have anything to say on the matter of the fish or algae, but I needed to comment to say that your tank is absolutely gorgeous! The composition is perfect, and the colour palette of the fish perfectly complements the rest of the colours. Way to go!

It is 46 watt so it is bright, but I have it on a timmer so it is only on for about 6 hours a day now.

You certainly have a very nice looking tank

Can you provide a little more info on the LEDs, like what color temp they have ?
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

WOW! Thanks to everyone for the compliments on my tank. I am glad that others can also appreciate a fish that would most likely be overlooked by the general aquarium community.

Wow... those killies are beautiful. Really like them. I wonder if they're as aggressive as Golden Wonders? Mine are pretty aggressive, but they still get picked on by my Black Ruby Barbs. It took them several months before doing so, but they finally did. Keep an eye out for that. The Goldens can pretty much take care of themselves, but they do get picked on from time to time.

Also, your tank is stunning. I love those pieces of driftwood you have.
