I know, The loaches are my mother's. I am planning a large tank and have a second small tank doing a fishless cycle right now. I could've killed the lady at Aquarium Adventure. I brought my mother in to look at their aquariums. She saw the clown loaches and wanted them. I told her that they needed to be in groups of at least 5 and would get big. The aquarium lady said "Nooooo, you just two or so." So we ended up coming home with 2 clown loaches.
The catfish will get fairly large, as well. I am planning for the future.

Mom's are fun, LOL! I'm glad you have a future plan for the loaches, most people don't.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

So the Largest Syno (now named FatCat) was tricked into coming out and getting her picture taken. She tried to get me back by coming out, picking up a pellet and carrying it off to her hidey hole. I still got a couple of decent ones. If you can see it, she's developed spots, but she is very dark and is growing fairly fast. Tip to tail she's about 5 inches now. The Lighter one of the three is still only about 2.5 inches long. The Smaller one is growing up to look like FatCat. I still think I have 2 different types of catfish.
