Thanks. I use remineralised ro water for the tank and knew that it would be very soft and slightly acidic so I tried to match the fish with the parameters in the hope they would thrive.

I'm glad to hear the harlies and threadfins are doing so well. Those are nice looking rams you have there too. Good luck with them all!

When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

The tank looks very nice. I love the dense vegetation combined with open area.

Pretty little german ram pair you have their.

You might want to consider starting a journal so we can follow the progress of your tank in a thread that is easier to find.

Thank you :) Tbh I didn't plan the decor much, it just developed over the month.

I made sure I got the best looking/ most active ones in the shop, I'm sure the assistant wasn't too please by me as it took her around 10 minutes to get them both haha

I am slightly worried about having to deal with a "mini cycle" as I added quite a lot of fish at once. Although I usually do a water change today I decided against it to give the inhabitants more time to settle in undisturbed. I did check the parameters before deciding to do this and came out at 0,0,0. I also added so powdered bacteria into the main filter to combat an potential mini cycle.
