Time for this old guy to go to bed, so I leave you with one of Roy's best.
I had a chance to see him in Tahoe and didn't go, he died a week later. Anyway my all time favorite singer.

That's cool about your son Lee! Yeah I went to college for computer science, decided I couldn't do computer science half way through and switched to mathematics. Then worked in a factory for three years. lol If I had a nickle for every time someone would say "You have a degree? What are you doing here?" Degrees aren't as valuable as they used to be!
I was homeschooled all but two years of my schooling life. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

I would work my positions and get everything done and if it wasn't break time I would just go over and help one of the other people out on their positions. They would get defensive and refuse my help, told me just to go take an extra break. Why? In case they'd have to help me later. I found it quite humorous.

Best of luck to your son Lee. I'm sure he will do well no matter where the path leads him. He has a very good foundation.

It seems to me that guys sometimes take a little longer to get where they're meant to go. My son started at U of Maryland in 2004 in computer engineering and only stayed 3 semesters (he should have left sooner - was just not the right place for him at that time). When he left and came home I told him he had to keep taking courses, and get a job. So he started working at the YMCA and going to the community college, getting the gen ed courses done and trying to figure out what he wanted. Took 6 years but he finally got his Associates in the business program and was admitted to UMASS' Isenberg School of Management. He graduated this past May as an accounting major, started Grad school at the end of May, and will be starting at an accounting firm in September. It's been a long 10 years since he graduated high school, but finally he seems to be on his way.

Lee, I hope you are feeling better the past few days. I'm delighted to hear you enjoy what you're doing work-wise, now.
Great news on your son's new direction. I am certain you've grown him up well.

I get the defensive thing from the guy that supposed to be in charge, brought doughnuts for everybody this morning, seemed to irritate him :)
