From what I've read it will always have a little tint to the water and since I don't use any charcol in my media it's going to be there, not bad though.

Because I use RO/DI water my pH rises a bit over the week between PWCs. Even thought I buffer the pH, it still goes up. Maybe the IA leaves would keep it from rising?

Surely can't hurt, from what I've read...it's kind of hard to find anything detrimental to using these leaves, from what little research I've done on them reveal

Sorry for the loss of your Cory Lee :(. I hope the almond leaves as a natural treatment aids with the mystery illness, I think the tank looks fantastic tinted!
Matt, you're tank would also look fantastic with the addition of a few of those leaves, go for it!

Frm what slap and kevin have spoken of and a little research. It looks benifical. I picked up 8 leaves in houston. Added the first to my 20 gal just to see what will happen. And the vid is great.
