    Default Lionfish feeding time

    2 Not allowed!
As requested, here's the little guy enjoying a meal. Today's meal was small squid pcs. I tried a few different time to get a good video and this was the best I could get. I had to stop before I overfeed the fish. It's doesn't show every well, but his body is about 7 inches in lenght right now

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Oh wow Cliff that was SWEET...he approaches the front of the tank everytime you approach?...expecting to be fed?

Or does he know the feeding day, lol?

Man, he nailed the food lightning fast, blink and you'll miss it!

    That is one spectacular creature.

Thanks for that video, I know it was kind of a PITA to get done

LOL, he is always begging for food whenever I am in the room, not matter if I have not feed him for a few days or just feed him 2 minutes ago. I have to peek around the corner to see were he likes to hang out in the rock structures

I've got one word for that. Brutal.

lol How often do you feed him?
Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.

I feed him about every second day. I also skip a few meals here and there as well. I do try to keep the meal limited to about 3 small (ish) pcs of food as it can be pretty easy to overfeed these guys. I swear they would eat themselves to death if you would let them

He is a neat fish alright, thanks for sharing.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

    Cliff,
Do you feed him any crustacean-based foods? He does look in good shape, tho :)

    Thanks guys

Dave, the closest thing to that in his normal feeding routine are shrimp and some claims when the sea-food store has a good enough sale.
