    I currently have a AC 50 and a regent 30-60.
I was thinking of replacing one of these with a AC 110. Any thoughts?

Rule number 1 - you can never have to much filtration - I would replace the regent 30-60 with that AC 110 if you did
    Current tanks:
37G FW - 3 Pearl Gourami, 4 Black Mollies, approximately 20+ Molly Fry, 5 Assassin Snails | 10G Planted FW - 14 Molly Fry, rocks, DW and an Anubias Nana - journal

Iam cocerned with how strong the flow of water will be. Too strong for a narrow 55?

You can't have too much filtration but you can have too much flow. With that being said, I had an AC110 on a 29g at one time and it was fine. I would use 2 AC110's on a 55g.

When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

there are dials to adjust flow on the HOB filters. unless you have fish that don't tolerate high water flow well (like male betta) it probably won't be a problem.

you should probably list your tanks / fish stock in your sig (and if it is planted or not)

Amazingly I found the AC70 had more flow than the AC110...possibly because the 110 has a wider output?

That sounds plausible and good to know also. I've not seen any AC filters (physically) outside my AC 50.

Would any here run all three hobs?
