Four-year-old Katie, looking at the feeder goldfish tank at Walmart: "There are too many fish in that tank! If they were kids, they WOULDN'T even be ABLE to WALK!!!"

Ha ha ha Thanks. I think she's getting the idea. It started early--she was the only two-year-old I've ever seen who knew the word "otocinclus" and "plecostomus"...and could tell you which was which. Makes a father's heart proud. :D

my daughter (age 6) goes to the reptile show sometimes with her mom and/or I. She thinks the bins full of baby mice are sooo cute. We haven't had the heart to tell her what they're there for.300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank: 1 bullfrog
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails
