Thee are many many different tetra species. You would have to be more specific.
Neon tetras do not seem to be very hardy nowadays.
It seems many people who buy some lose at least a few or even the majority within the first weeks.
Cories are not particularly hardy. I'd actually say that they are more on the delicate side as far as aquarium fish go.

Cories are not necessarily delicate, but as a whole, they tend to be more sensitive in relation to other commonly available tropical fish, was what I was trying to say.
You've made a good choice on the white clouds. They are very beautiful and the males will spar constantly with each other.

+ 1 to Madagascariensis, Cory's are indeed sensative to changing water conditions and should be the last fish indroduced to any tank.
If your going with Cory's I would suugest Corydoras melanotaenia or C. aeneus as both of these like their water a little cooler.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

What about longfinned zebra danios? They can deal with the lower temp and are an active and pretty fish. A 55 gal would be perfect for a school of 8-10 fish.My 75 gal Journal & My Dual 29 gal Journal
