Do you have anywhere else to move the fish in it now or do they have to stay in the new setup?

That's crying out for a large, sprawling piece of driftwood to fill the background and give some height.

I'd like to see a nice big Crypt or Sword in the right, behind those rocks. =/

Aponegeton Ulvaceus. I had a huge empty spot in my tank so I went to the LFS and grabbed this huge, fast growing plant. It Takes up 1/3 of my 29 gallon and already had 4 flowers!

Ditto on the driftwood...easy to add and very nice, not to mention being beneficial for your fish depending on what's in the tank.

On the left side of my tank I have the Aponegeton in the back and 6 small Red Crypt Wendeti in front and they have a great contrast and very similar leaves that make it look like they blend together

Driftwood. Either a fat sprawly piece or a bunch of thin branchy bit. Attach java fern and java moss to it and give your fish a place to hide!
Maybe tuck a few big old swordplants along the back, particularly a fat one behind the rock on the right.
I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.
