    Yes I will be using it but my tank is fully cycled and has been running without issues for 2 years. I do weekly water changes using nothing but straight tap water and prime.

    I have an FX5 and a xp3, so filtration is not an issue. The water in the tank has 0 nitrites

    No, didn't catch that (long post ... .)
    Knowledge is fun(damental)

    A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is down to just two Sterba's Corys. Filters: continuous new water flow; canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber!! Finally, junked the nitrate removal unit from hell.
