I'm looking for cory suggestions for my 100G tank. I've small pea gravel substrate, and water that's 7-8 ph and about 8 hardness. I'm considering a school of about 20. Recommendations?

I use shrimp and snails now, but before that I had 3 favorites:

In order. Pygmy would be difficult to keep with larger fish and harder to find. I only bought mine because I had never seen them before and knew they could deal with the snails I had in that setup. Julii has always been my favorite since childhood, so I may be predisposed.

Shrimp and snail junkie... What can I say, I like the little things in life.

How warm are you running this? What else is in there?

I would be hesitant to put cories with tiger barbs. Yes, they do occupy different spaces but having one of the most peaceful species in the hobby with something potentially very aggressive just does not seem right. In place of cories I would recommend botiine loaches. They occupy the same niche but are generally bigger and much more feisty.

The tiger barbs are in my 55 gallon. For this tank, I'm planning on a large school of cardinal tetras, my remaining platies (I'm down to 4), and some catfish. I was thinking upside downers, but then others have recomended cories instead. I think I've my tank at 75 degrees at the moment. Right now, only my platies are in there along with media and plants from my other tank to help cycle it.

Okay !!! Heyyyy no Cory, no Glory !!!
With cardinals I'd suggest Sterbai, Duplicareus or Adolfoi cause these like it hot (real tropical ones) just like Cardinals !!!!! When with Tigers I'd say Paleatus, Aeneus (including albino) cause they can be kept cooler (paleatus coolest).
    No Cory, No Glory !!

Here's an attractive Cory for you, C. weitzmani

I now have 16 Pandas in my tank. They are pretty cute buggers. I'll add a few more when my LFS gets another stock in (I bought them out).
