  1. Default African themed tank

I think i am finally made up my mind on my future 55 gallon tank and that would be a African theme (no African cichlids though). Some of the fish i have had in mine were the African Butterfly Fish, the African Brown Knife Fish, the Spotted African Leaf Fish, and the African Featherfin Catfish these are all the fish i can think of for now. but i still am looking for a shoaling fish top finish my future tank. and another thing are all these fish compatible ?

Not sure about those combinations but I'm pretty sure that tank won't be big enough for the knife. Why not run it through aqadvisor.

with one of everything (expect a shoaling fish). but the African knife fish is one of the smaller knife fish reaching 12 inches max. on very site i saw the minimum tank size was a 55 gallon.

    I wouldn't be comfortable keeping a twelve inch fish in a 55. I don't think that's fair.
