Hello , Hope things are fine on your side

I need your kind guidance about the issue i am facing about raising my molly babies in my aquarium please . My molly baby fries are dieying as they are getting to the age of 4,5 months . My baby fish tank is 27 litres , i have a

    75 watt heater ,
a overhead hanging energy saver bulb
    external tank oxygen supply ,
    no filter pump ,
some gravel covering the floor of aquarium ,
[ there is no facility for gauging ph , gh and nitrate levels as no such shop having equipment to measure them is available in my city ]

I change half of water every third day and add table salt on water change [ both complete and partial ] , previously was taking babies out and clean aquarium but a friend stopped me from doing this . Every time we clean the tank or change the water 5,6 babies are found dead . The main problem i see with my molly babies is that before they die they sort of bend from centre so that tail and back section is deviated to one side and their movements are not coordinated and later sink down after one two days .

I love them so much and is real heartbreak , I give them powdered pellet food found in market mixed with minced flake food but due to absence of filter the water gets up really messy . There are about 120 baby mollies in the aquarium. I don't even know if it is the right forum . If you can guide me i would be thankful , Please help , i really need urgent guidance !!!!!!!!!!!

One thing more is , can i use methylene blue in my baby molly's aquarium? am scared to do so , any other advices on the subject would be welcome with gratitude .

    Thank you .

What do you mean by "external tank oxygen supply"? you mean an air pump, and air stone?...and there is NO filter on this tank?? must have a filter to remove the waste from the tank, and to provide a place for bacteria to grow that will "eat" the waste your fish provide...with no filter, your fish are pretty much living in their own toilet. What is your source of water? Do you use water conditioner? Why are you using table salt, this is not needed. I have no idea what the methylene blue is for, but you should never medicate fish without knowing what is wrong with them.

You may want to post your questions in the Beginner section of the forum.
