  1. Default Problem with bronze cory cat.

Hey guys, I need some help real quick! So the other day one of my new cory cats (of four) suddenly died. I woke up that morning and it was just on its side and not moving. So I flushed it...However today, I noticed a problem with another one. It is very inactive, and is kinda bobbing side to side (not a good sign.) I also noticed this giant white patch on one of its sides. I don't think this is ich as this doesn't look like "grains of salt." I need to know if there is any treatment I can use so I can run out and get it to save this guy. And possibly the rest of my tank. Here are some pictures for reference.

    sorry about the corys.
First things first: what is the size of your tank, what other fish are in the tank and how many and what are your water parameters? Specifically ammonia, nitrites and nitrate readings. (and be specific as to the readings.
how often do you change your water and how much and what water conditioner do you use?

get back with those answers and we may be able to help.

Looks like a fungal or bacterial infection. Clean water is a good place to start and you may need to buy a good medication. This one may help http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...29&pcatid=4829
It is best to treat in a QT tank since some antibacterial medications can harm your biological filter.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?
