Default What has this angelfish got on his eye?

I have never seen this before so don't even know how to treat for it. This is my sons angelfish. I brought him home to see if I could do something with him and so far he is in a quarantine tank, salted 1 T. per 5 gallons of water and using PimaFix and Melafix. Neither of which I think is worth a darned but what I have here.

These lumps are almost like hard tumors that suddenly appeared this month on the yellow area around the pupil. Lymphocystis come to mind but I believe those lumps are white? I might just treat for viral and see what happens.

(The white spots are actually water spots on the glass. Disregard those please.)

I'm with you on the "I've never seen this before". I assume you looked carefully that it's not some kind of louse?
To me it looks like cancer of some kind.

Thought that myself. Can't find anything like it on the net, either, so have no idea.
