  1. Post Seachem Prime vs NT Labs Chlor-Go

    Hi,

First question is if Chlor-Go is good for Tropical aquatic? I'm still awaiting answer from their sales dept.

Which one do you recommend? Both seem to be in the same price range, although NT is cheaper.

250ml of Prime treats 9463 litres
250ml of NT Labs Chlor-Go treats 9000 liters

Both remove copper, zinc and lead

    Both remove chlorine and chloramine

Seems Prime only provides slime coat and it is only Prime which tackles ammonia after breaking chloramine. However in Maltese tap water there is no chloramine so this function is not needed as such.

    Which one do you suggest?

I've only used Prime, and it has worked flawlessly for me when dosed properly.

Amazol .. anyone heard of this? A local seller is claiming this:

Hey Mattew nice to meet u. Yes I have a good waterconditioner. I use Amazol, which is a professional WC used in farming & breeding. Many water conditioners make a strong formula in a little bottle. this makes mixing awkward for small volumes without over or underdosing. this conditioner is formulated to make it easy to work with. dozing is 10ml for 100L so 1ml for 10L, 2ml for 20L etc . €6 for 500ml (good for 5000L)
Is it worthy to risk my fishes life?

I have only used prime and I like it very much. I never had a problem dosing it at smaller levels.

I always like to play it safe and use products also used by a lot of other people so I consider the first hand experience of other hobbyist before using.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
