I hope so, there are so many species available then when I first started in the hobby and new ones being discovered all the time.

    About all that were available years ago, were C.aeneus, C.arcutus, C.hastatus, C.elegans,C.melanistius, C.nattereri, C.paleatus, C.julii, and C.rabauti.

C.rabauti, was the only one Dr. William Innes considered attractive enough to get a color plate in his "Exotic Aquarium Fihes" book.

    Nice looking fish

Makes me almost want to set up another tank !!!
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Yeah correct. Have aquariumbooks from 1928 and 1935 in which the Paleatus is mentioned. Keeping Aeneus (small type, albinos, emeralds, big type), habrosus, pygmaeus, panda, leucomelas and Paleatus. Having some problems keeping the smaller ones the last time. Don't understand why. Paleatus are mostly adopted and thinkt they are really great.
