I planned on making a vid tonight, ended up out for a few drinks. Maybe at the weekend I will make a vid.
    My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

Awesome! Thanks for the video, they do seem to like the food. I have often thought of making my own fish food but never seem to get around to it.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

Thinking of trying this... How small do you want the food chunks to be? I'm guessing it varies depending on how small your fish are, right?
How would this work for saltwater fish? I have four main critters: An omnivorous damsel species, a Japanese waspfish (carnivore, basically a tiny scorpionfish), a shrimpgoby (also carnivore) and a pistol shrimp. The pistol eats pretty much anything it can get ahold of, I'm not sure what it prefers. Could I just add more meat for these critters? Also, can I substitute any sort of shrimp for the prawns?
I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.

It will depend on fish size, however the food clumps quite well so fish can eat a clump of smaller parts. I dont keep saltwater so no comment
