will these animals eat African water fern (Bolbitis heudelotii)
I am wondering if either a bristle nose pleco, orange rabbit snail , Siamese algea eater, or nertite snail would eat a Bolbitis heudelotii. In a few discriptions I have read it said some fish like to eat it, mainly plecos. It seems like bnp dont eat many plants when fed well, mine hasn't touched any plants other than for a few secons to eat algea, no holes yet though.

All of the mentioned critters are gteat in planted tanks, they shouldn't mess with the plants.

Nerites won't eat your plants, so long as they're algae free. If they're covered in algae (and by covered, I mean bba or bsa here and there - not covered completely - just the hard stuff, usually. They have pretty long, sharp teeth. If you see one on the glass sometime, watch how it eats.), they might unintentionally eat some of the plant along with the algae. That's happened to me. Orange rabbit snails will eat plants, if not provided enough food. That's a fact, jack. You should be safe with the others.

You should be enough as you keep the critters well fed. However, if they get hungry they might start eating on it. It is however not a very tasty plant so it will not be the first choice.Do as I say. Not as I do.
