    i got the flora max and for the light i got the LED Pent 30 HI Timer 6500K and how could i get my hardness down???

    You get hardness down by using RO or rainwater

    you can also use peat in your filter but it will lower your pH as well.

    Err.. not quite. Peat will not do much beside stain the water if it's very hard. On soft water it will cause a ph drop.
