Mexican Livebearers
I went to that fish auction today and couldn't resist the names of these fish. The guy told me they were almost extinct and I could not help but to buy a pair. I know NOTHING about them. I searched the internet and their scientific name is Goodae Gracilus. Does anyone know anything about them? They have no color but one is 3 times the size of the other (breeding pair).

C'mon guys. No one knows anything about these fish? The big one is really cool. He hides in the cave with his head sticking out.

Definately not a guppy! One is 4 inches long and does not have the same fins as guppies. The guy told me what they were (goodea gracilus) but that's it. I know they are a breeding pair but I can't even tell which one is the boy and which one is the girl. I will try to get a pic of the big one but he/she does not like me very much.

I also don't know what I am supposed to be feeding them. They don't like the flakes and tend to want to eat off the bottom or falling food. Won't eat off the top.

Ok. I found some common names for them. In Mexico they are called Dusky Goodea and in the USA they are called Dusky Splitfin.
