New pike cichlid
I caught this pike cichlid a few weeks ago. Unsure of the exact species but it probably falls under the Crenicichla saxatilis group. It has been slowly trained onto prepared food.

Neat fish Aeon! When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Exact species is allways hard. especially consider the number that still need to be described.Do as I say. Not as I do.

Hahaha... Thanks. I have a few more in the same tank. I will be keeping one or two of them. The rest are going to a stream where the population was recently wiped out by a mudslide.

What ???? Not to my tank ?????
Sounds like a good idea and a worthwhile cause to reintroduce them to the stream. Are you planning to reintroduce other species as well.Do as I say. Not as I do.
