Hello! I have not logged in for a loooong time, used to be on this forum everyday..I've since sold or given away all my tanks and filters . I recently setup a fish tank in my girlfriend's classroom. She is a science teacher at a middle school. Washing all the sand, planting the tank, going over stocking lists, etc.. Anyway, now I want a tank again. I stumbled upon a "nano" tank that are I am curious about:

Has anybody ever seen or owned one of these? It has a top mounted filter system in the hood, with a place to cut out for a HOB. Comes with lights, and has curved glass.. Think I should scoop it up?

It appears to be similar to the jewel brand tanks the non Americans can get. Amelia down in New Zealand has at least one of them. The lights seem a little weak though. Would probably still be enough for floating plants though. I believe most of the people on here that have them run a cannister filter on them too. If you are local and can pick it up I would say go for it. That is cheaper than the cheapie setups you can get at petsmart.

    Good luck.
