I thought this may be of interest to some; I know I am always looking for new fish discoveries, even though it may take years before some of these enter the hobby.

I can post more of these, wasn't sure if members wanted them or not, so I will as I come to them. I check the new fish species being described regularly and some of the scientific papers are free online, or they appear in articles like that posted.

Heiko and I have corresponded several times, and he really loves talking about his trips and discoveries. He believes he has introduced more than 4,000 new species of fresh and brackishwater fishes to the hobby in his several decades of exploration. An incredible individual.
