Little slow on here :(
But update time
Since i took the pic, i raised the pleco cave off the ground about 1.5", and put some support under the back so its slightly slanted forward (very little). I also have a area boxed out on right side (4" wide by 1.5" deep) for filter intake and heater cord. The low flat piece in the middle will have substrate hiding most of it, with the heater behind it. Filter intake will stick just below the PVC (pvc being used so that great stuff doesn't make hole too small)
The plan right now as it stands:
Miracle gro dirt (i know which bag - just forgot name right now)
Mix in turface with dirt
Cap with black diamond
The wall will be lava rock and great stuff covered in dry lok, not sure final color yet though

So here is the first shot...
Needs some more foam, coating, and maybe a hit with the heat gun to tame some of it back a bit... but so far so good
*FYI, that tank and stand is a friend of mine... I know it needs help lol

I'm going to apologize in advance, please don't hate me - the one on the left looks like a drunken snowman who fell down the mountain and picked up a few rocks as he went! LOL!! I'm really sorry, but that was my first thought and I really did LOL!!!!
I can't wait to see these progress - great DIY project.
