Hello fellow fish fanatics
I have always been a fish fancier. I joined several other forums after getting a 55 gallon tank for my sixteenth birthday, which was approximately 5 weeks ago. Of course I would love to have a much larger tank and hope to some day keep my dream fish, the arapaima, in a 1000 gallon aquarium. I am knowledgeable about cichlids, bettas, various coldwater fishes, and some saltwater aquarium fish, as well as freshwater crustaceans. I frequently contribute constructive edits to Wikipedia and have even started several articles on fish. I'm a sophomore in high school right now but I aspire to be an ichthyologist once I graduate college. I like these aquarium forums because I usually get great advice and am also able to give great advice. Right now here's what I have in my 55 gal planted African Cichlid tank:
Ice Blue Zebra- "Lamborghini Aventador", Rusty- "Bentley Continental GTC", 2 Yellow Labs- "Ferrari FF" and "Lotus Elite", Electric Blue Johanni- "Aston Martin Vanquish", Milomo hap- "Audi R8", Pictus Catfish- "Cadillac Escalade", Pleco- "Rolls Royce Phantom" (yes, I name my fish after cars) ;)
In Other Tanks:
Betta (plakat)- "Maximus Decimus Meridius", Bluegill- "Charlie"
I will post pictures soon. :)
